Beta program questions

Who gets selected for the MachineDigit beta?

Selection is individual and based on fit. We look for developers, researchers in BCI, neuroscience, HCI, accessibility, XR, or wearables, product teams, accessibility partners, and early adopters comfortable with Rev A hardware, ideally with a clear use case. We review every application and reply to every applicant.

Do I need prior BCI or EEG experience to apply?

No. The application asks about your experience, but prior BCI or EEG experience is not required. What matters is a real use case and comfort testing Rev A hardware, including its current limitations.

What do beta testers get?

Early access to MachineDigit Rev A (PsiCore and Cogito), wearable device access depending on cohort, platform access for supported experiments, a direct feedback channel with the product team, influence on product direction, and priority access to future releases.

What is expected of beta testers?

Testing in agreed use cases, structured feedback on comfort, usability, setup, and signal reliability, bug reports, and following safety and data-handling guidelines. No unsupported medical or high-risk use. Testers should be open to signing an NDA or beta agreement.

How long does the application take, and what happens after I apply?

The application takes about five minutes. Applications are reviewed individually, and we reply to every applicant. If your use case fits the current cohort, we follow up with onboarding details, the beta agreement, and timelines.
